Greenland

According to records, there was a fugitive named Erik the Red from the Nordic Viking Nation in 985 AD. In order to recruit more sailors to help him to run away, Erik lied to the Vikings in Iceland by saying that there is a fertile island in the north, which is the legendary Greenland , the well-known hometown of Santa Claus (Grønland), meaning ‘The land with green soil’.
It turned out that this lie actually worked. More than 4,000 Vikings sailed northwest to explore the land that existed in the tale. These Vikings were the first immigrants from North Europe to Greenland. Yet the Vikings went on shore and found out that they been cheated by Erik the Red. There weren’t any green plants on the island at all.
Ironically, the ice layers have been gradually disappeared due to global warming during recent years. There are green grass and trees growing in the Greenland now though. The home of polar bears and other boreal forest animals is in danger. Greenland may become the real ‘green’ land after a thousand years or so.

The design adopts the sailing vessel that the Vikings sailed to discover the new land; symbolizing the harvest being brought by sailing ships through the port. There are magical compasses with Nordic rune on both sides. Taking the vessel with the compass to look for the mysterious Tree of Immortality which is also the concept of the circle of life.
In addition, crow is the messenger of the Norse mythology - Odin. When a ship is less than 300 kilometers to the land, the crew will release the crow and then follow its flying route to the land.
The Arctic wolf of Greenland appears when the hosiery is folded. The Arctic wolf is one of the ancient species on earth and the lonesome survivor of the ice age, which strengthen the concept of Tree of Immortality.

WHY FLIPPOS
The original idea of FLIPPOS hosiery is to create a pair of compression stocking fulfilling functions in every way. You could wear it to the office and exercise after work as well. Simply with ONE SAME pair of stocking.

Graduated Compressions
The compression levels adopted by FLIPPOS are the graduated compressions of 15-25 mmHg in accordance with EU regulation, which is NOT considered a high-compression medical product.

The main material of the hosiery is tech nylon mixed with lycra yarn. In addition to that this material is four times more expensive than ordinary combed cotton, the main functions are quick moisture wicking and the touch of similar to Egyptian cotton.On top of that, silver fiber deodorizing technology has been added to the sole of stocking. The effect will NOT be reduced due to either the number of times being washed or however long the products has been bought.
